As part of the Wesley Fair 2009, Wesley Mission is holding an inaugural Photographic Competition focussing on 2 topics:
homeless and our community
There are 3 age groups (under 12, under 18 and over 18) and prizes, both a winner and a highly commended for each different age group.
Entries for the photographic competition close on 6th September and are submitted online. The competition is being judged by Verity Chambers, Senior Photo Editor for the Sydney Morning Herald, Fairfax Media. A selection of entries will be displayed at the Fair, 220 Pitt Street, Sydney on 8th October at Wesley Mission where the winners will be announced (at 10am) and prizes presented.

Homeless Submit an image which depicts 'homeless'. Is it someone of any age who doesn't have shelter? Or is it more an inadequate experience of connectedness with family and or community?
Our community Submit an image that depicts any aspect of community life in the City of Sydney.
Age groups:
a. Primary school aged children, 12 years and under
b. Secondary school aged chidren, 13-18 years
c. Adults, over 18
Prizes include:
Start date: 6th July 2009
End date: 6th September 2009 Extended to 20th September
Entry fee: $5 per entry (under 18) and $10 per entry (over 18). Entries limited to one per person per topic
